Karsen Beckner is a Brooklyn-based artist working in oil and mixed media.

Her abstract works, titled “energy systems,” are studies of self-manifesting shapes and imaginary, out-of-this-world environments inspired by her interest in quantum theory.

She creates unique compositions of geometric shapes in Line with her belief that there is correlation between probability and serendipity.

She holds a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University.
